Which opp is best to move into CIB?
Am considering the following opportunities and wanted to hear your guys’ perspectives on which opportunity has the best exit opps.
My near term goal is to be in corporate banking (at a solid /better bank) or investment banking (LevFin, DCM, etc).
Opportunity 1 - Corporate Banking Relationship Management Analyst at a large regional bank (think Truist, US Bank, Citizens Bank, etc) in NYC. The pros here are that it’s in NYC and it’s technically Corporate Banking (over $1B revenue clients) but it’s on the relationship side of things.
Opportunity 2 - Credit Rating Analyst at a major 3 rating agency (S&P / Moody’s/ Fitch) in NYC.
Opportunity 3 - Commercial banking at a top BB in a tier 3 smaller city. Deals with smaller / mid-market companies and is more so focused on the credit risk side.
Thanks so much!
