BAML Sophomore GBAM Program
Have any of you monkeys been through the program? If so, what did you think of it? If not, have you heard of the program and is it well know on the Street? What sort of hours/tasks can you expect as a sophomore analyst?

Who did you hear this from? I've heard to definitely expect to hear before Xmas
Does anyone know what the next steps are (i.e. 1 super day, 2 rounds of interviews, etc.)? Do they hope to give out offers before the holidays?

And is the 1st round for this program usually on the phone? I would much rather have it in-person.

Exactly - first round is almost always by phone unless you're actually in NYC. Followed by a second round phone or a superday
Yeah got that same email as well. Mine came on the 2nd. Havent heard anything about an interview yet though.
Also, I got my email concerning my review process about two weeks ago.

I applied a few days before applications were due and that's why I think it is under review this late.

I received an under review email after I received email that I got a first round interview via phone...a bit confused. Should I be concerned? Also applied very close to deadline.

We can gain a new perspective if we know which position you guys applied for. This way, we will be able to see if BAML is assessing applications position-by-position or not.

Applied to S&T and heard back 12/2 first with the "under review" email and following it the 1st round interview for this month.

Had my S&T phone interview. Very lax, only behavioral questions and asked to give an example on how I was following the markets.

I had my phone interview for IB and it was pretty technical, but I think I did well. I am still waiting to hear back about the superday which they said was going to be on January 14th. I have not heard anything back from them, so either they moved the superday or I just did not get it...

Well I got my super day invitation yesterday evening. For S & T though. The 1st round interview was very technical for me, a lot of market questions.

Did anyone explicitly get rejected for S&T after the phone interview. I had one and didn't get invited to the super day people have been mentioning in this thread; that's probably the only one and means it's over, right?
Unfortunately, it's ended for all positions in the sophomore program. I'm sorry for the bad news.

I have a superday for IB on Feb 10th, so that means there must still be positions left.

Hey Guys,
I just recently accepted an offer with BAML for their Sophomore Global Banking and Markets Rotational internship program.
I was wondering whether anyone had any experience with this program or whether anyone else had recently accepted an offer for this year? Also trying to get a better feel for the program entails and how it differs from typical summer analysts in S&T and IBD Capital markets?
Look forward to hearing some opinions or any information at all!
Not much is different. Instead of 9 weeks in one division(1w training), you spend 4 1/2 each on the S&T side and IBD side. Instead of aiming for return offer for FT, you aim for return offer for the following summer.
Mr. V, have you gone through the program? or just speaking from basic knowledge?

A good friend of mine did the program and recently signed at GS. Out of the program, most of the kids end up staying at BAML. However, those that try to go elsewhere end up doing well. If you do well in the program, it's great. You get great exposure to both IBD and S&T. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions. I know a few people that did the program.
