Can confirm from 1st hand source that GM starts recruting in early August. Tho I do not know if they have an accelerated process for diversity etc. I highly doubt that tho

Got pymetrics invite half an hour ago. Anyone else? Took me like weeks to get it and applied first day they opened. Are there selective at all? Didn't network yet

Anyone else just get a bunch of emails to complete Pymetrics? I already did all of them but my application looks like it won’t update.

Okay this is going to sound dumb but someone please help me out.  What is "super day" ?  Anyone know how many people will interview me and what type of people those are.  Should I expect a lot of technical questions and how do I prepare for that.  Any advice would be very appreciated.  I feel very underprepared.

A superday is usually the final round of interviews. It’s called a superday because in most cases you’re doing many interviews back to back with a large number of bankers. In my experience this cycle they’re about 2-3 hours long with 5 or so interviews with 1 or 2 bankers each. There will be technicals, in my experience the same difficulty as first rounds but just more of them. Depending on the firm they may have 1 or 2 interviews dedicated solely to technicals or they’ll leave it up to each banker to do a little bit of technical questions at their discretion in each interview. Number of people depends heavily on the firm and how their recruiting work, it’s something out of your control and won’t play into whether you get the offer or not. Hope this helps.

Are we dinged for GM/S&T superday if we haven't heard back yet? Pretty nervous..

Had one last year.

Know your technicals, and every part of the M&A stuff, and know wtf synergies are. I also got asked about PIK interest and a lot of shit about accounting so make sure you’re good with that. Standard valuation stuff nothing fancy.

Behaviorals are standard, just be sure to thank them after the email. Smile! Be friendly!
