BofA vs Jefferies IB Offer 2026 SA
Happy to have received both offers and looking to make a decision. Both generalist offers and would want to be at a top group at either, but more interested in TMT, Industrials, healthcare, or pure m&a. Goal is to exit after 2 years into top PE or Growth Equity, with interest in tech/defense space.
Case for BofA: brand name, better m&a group??, wlb, exit ops??
Case for Jefferies: generalist internship so get to feel things out, growing like crazy, more m&a exposure in coverage groups, poached BofA software rainmaker??
Heard Bofa has been spiraling lately, given lower pay and top guys leaving, but curious how important this is to a analyst.
Also which would have a stronger TMT group? both are NY offices.
I thought Jefferies have not given out their SDs yet are currently doing r1. Did u do a diversity program or accelerated?

Jefferies time lines are random and vary by campus. Our offers for SA 26 were out early February. Semi target btw
BOFA and Jefferies both will have quite long hours but I have heard the latter is worse
