Did they stop doing Pymetrics? Or is it only for the NY office? Did not get one.

For the people who got the group preference... Did you guys do pymetrics?

Did not do pymetrics.

How does this make any sense. Like how can JP hire FT analysts without knowing headcount from how many SAs are returning?

Based on previous year's thread, looks like SD's are held in the first week of August, with offering going out about the same time that SA FT offers are extended (or soon thereafter). It appears they are just getting things lined up. But I agree, all the stars have to be aligned for a FT offer to come out of this. For those looking to level up from their summer internships, it'll be tricky to navigate given the exploding offers that will be hitting in mid August from their current gigs.

I had a call with someone in healthcare yesterday. Their hiring process has definitely kicked off already

Same. Not sure if they are loosely sent out or a good sign of a potential superday. Also not sure how to rank preferences

Was there anything to do after you rank the groups? I did it on mobile and this popped up… not sure if I have to do anything else

also got one today. did hirevue a few days back. not sure if it's a good sign

Looks to be a good sign based on previous years. Let's all hope for the best!!

sounds like everyone is getting group pref surveys … anyone do hirevue and hasn’t gotten a group pref survey? starting to think it’s a mass thing .

seems a bit off though, feel like they wouldn’t send out group pref until after hirevue review. They would have to sift through tons of survey responses to circle back with candidates. I’m not saying your wrong, just logistically saying it’s weird. Is the HR contact working on IB recruiting team for FT 2023 or is this just a HR contact?

Historically, has been selective. I know people trying to recruit IB last cycle and this cycle who did not get it. However, things may have changed, as we did not get pymetrics this time around.

I think you'll be fine. I submitted my hirevue Friday and still got a placement survey.

For the preference submission its asking for authentication anyone knows what that is. Which acc do we need to sign in with

how long after your hirevue did you get the survey? trying to see if I fucked up really bad

i did not lol but I bombed my hirevue which sucks but I just got really nervous

may be a dumb question, but they would only know about the seat available after SA offers have been accecpted/declined right?

Well to a certain degree, some groups will be able to tell that they wouldn’t want to be giving back a return offer to interns or they feel they want to add more spots to the overall analyst class

Is the reference to 8/8 based on something? Did anyone get an invite for that date?

Anyone know if different offices like Chicago have different super dates?

Applied on June 27th, got the Pref survey on July 7th, still no SD....anyone in this boat?

Does it matter if we change the preference survey rankings or is it randomized ?

As a recommendation to all of you considering going for JPM - don't do it. Just go somewhere else. M&A is the only group that might be worth it (not bc the coverage teams suck, but because dealing with the BS of those teams is not worth it), but even then, if you can make it onto that team, you're better off just going to a boutique. The only people I've interacted with that like it here are the absolute hardos who do the most, and I assure you, putting in a normal amount of effort at any other firm would be met with the same praise and compensation.

This firm already has a retention issue and difficulty recruiting to fill the seats - don't put yourself in a position where you're just gonna be there dealing with their inability to manage talent.

These superdays are for Tech & Real Estate. I don't believe superdays for all coverage and product groups are happening this week.
