Models and Bottles? - Work hard and play hard

I just watched that AJ video. I've interviewed with a lot of little shit analysts and associates who kinda reminded me of this guy, but is there a lot of this in banking. I'm not all of a sudden going to quit because of this, but should I expect to be around this all day at a BB firm.

Also, this whole 'work hard- play hard' mantra, do people actually talk like this. That video actually got me angry.

I honestly don't know who is more of a fucking tool... you or AJ... although in AJ's defense he may have got laid, you may never...

you're always going to run into a type A finance douchebag at any bank - it's just the nature of working in that type of culture...most of my friends at BBs or in other investment banks enjoy doing the whole bottle service thing, but don't really have the level of douchebaggery or arrogance that some guys do (or the unwarranted sense of entitlement)....that said, bottle service is fun, esp when you're not paying for it

just try to avoid them and find the down to earth/good natured people

I've seen that video before. What a sad human being. Quotes: "It's gonna get crazy later...so...I'm looking forward to it."

"We're just getting started, give it a few hours."

Dude, learn to live in-the-now. Everyone around him is drinking and dancing, and he just stands there like an idiot, with his drink in his hand, talking about later. No personality, and too seriously materialistic to be enjoyable, ya know?

Oh yeah, those girls were not hot.

that kid was soft. and smiles like a pedophile. i could see him randomly getting beat up on the streets late at night, which prob what happened to him in high school.

"there's always something new" lmao. sounds like he never partied in college.

The dude is a douche but it got you angry? Bwhahahahahhahahaha

.London: How do you know?

PS: Decided to see if they had that vid on youtube and found this instead

"trader" lifestyle.
Devils AdvocateYah I found the trader video to be way worse than AJ's video when I saw it a year or so ago.

no reason to worry guys, in my experience d'bags of that kind go home with slightly fat chicks with ugly faces. But damn I bet those guys have more facebook friends than I do.

How is AJ a type-A finance guy? He's a faggot.

The type-A people in this industry are among the more interesting personalities. Others are completely fucking lame like AJ and Ritchie Bottles, and the majority are just normal people.

When you meet someone acting like AJ or like Ritchie Bottles, its usually one of the back office rats trying to play their firm's name so people that don't know any better think they're successful. Or its someone from a tier-3 bank trying to play their industry so people that don't know any better think they're worth their weight in shit.

People always say "type a personality" but I think they confuse it with the inherent one-uping that a lot of tools in finance/wannabees-in-finance always feel the need to do.

The type a's that like to win - and work in finance - are used to winning. When you've been there before you don't have to let everyone know about it.

I hate these people that buy the cheapest rolex or lease the boxter. I mean if you like the watch, great - buy it. No matter what anyone says, the boxter handles like shit. But seriously if you like something great - don't buyit/doit/gothere because you want people to know you "finally made it"

I bankers DO NOT get models. Trust me they get little wonna be rock star/socialites from NYU......NYU girls are skanks they're nothing more than used hyundai's/centra's after their four years of whoring.

.........Wow the chicago bears are an instant NFC favorite with a couple of recent acquisitions.

PATS VS BEARS SUPER BOWL Patriots 64 Bears 7...........Tommy Brady will be coming out with guns busting.

At least lease or buy used sounds better than renting it. I would think he could afford a Box (only 50k?) even as Ops if he had no loans to pay off. Then again I'm not familiar with MS op salaries and whether or not they get overtime.

23 Year old Ops Analyst in NYC isn't buying or leasing sh!t;

maximustradesI hope this is not how the real world works.

NYC is full of superficial, fake ballers. One of the negatives of an otherwise amazing city.

I should have clarified, but the explanation I heard was that the car was rented just for that night for the filming session.

HAHAHAHAHAHA, wow that is the DUMBEST thing I have heard today. Wow

whoever he is, this guys a fkg tool...unless its a parody - in that case, BRAVO. HILARIOUS....though they could have used better props w/ regard to the women, clothing and car....or maybe they were going for the "this is just pathetic enough it might pass as truth"? Or perhaps he was paid handsomely to improvise or act for the camera. In any event, it was worth the chuckle. Thanks.

I think I'm going to law school because I don't want to end up like that guy. If I have another 3 years of poverty under my belt, I might be more mature with my money.
