Rerecruiting because of Ubers change

Firm stopped allowing Uber blacks recently and I am looking to lateral to a firm that allows Uber blacks. It’s the sole reason I am leaving. At a good shop, but imagine pulling a 3AM and having to get carsick on your way home with a sketchy guy in a smelly car who’s blasting Akon.

I know this sounds ridiculous but it’s true and Uber has no standards in NY.

Interviewer: That is all I have. We got 5 minutes for any questions you have. You: Would you allow me to order Uber Black at night? If so, how much damage am I gonna incur financially? On a serious note, I think there should be a thread about which banks offer what perks. Gotta know before the interview and it is always fun shaming a stingy bank/group 🫡

My man, the pro-tip here is to order only Electric Comforts if your firm won’t let you order Uber Blacks. Guaranteed to be at least a Tesla (usually a Y, S or X) and half the time the same type of ride you’d receive anyways since Teslas count as a Uber Black anyways.

Plus, you can claim you’re doing your part as part of the ESG movement to ‘help the planet’ 😉
