SVB Leerink 2020 SA
Does anybody have any insight on SVB Leerink (formerly Leerink Partners)? They're coming to my school next week for 2020 SA recruiting and doesn't seem to be much info out there about them.

Hi UgEcon, hope I can help. Do any of these links cover what you're looking for:
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
bump
Healthcare focus, reasonably decent name, I'd put it on par with Cain brothers. No clue how the SVB acquisition will affect them.
Just came to my school. All healthcare focused, lean deal teams. Have boston, charlotte, sf, and ny (99% sure) offices. Seemed professional with respectable deal flow in HC
Have first round interview with them on Friday. Target school for them.
More than healthcare focused, they are biotech and pharma focused specifically. They tend to focus around the middle market of pharma (emerging companies with a couple of promising assets buying each other up etc). US focused for now, and the SVB could potentially bring some of their business to Europe (SVB has a London office) to try and take some share away from the current European names (BBs, Rothschild and biotech boutiques like Ferghana Partners).
Overall, a good bank and better deals than banks like Cain Brothers. They also compete in some slightly different sectors; they do a lot of M&A whilst pharma focused boutiques like HC Wainwright do a lot of underwriting or book running for fund raising.
Bump - how are exits/comp at Leerink? Any idea if there are routes besides healthcare mm pe or corp dev?
Anyone hear back from Leerink's NYC Superday last friday?
can confirm i know someone who has an offer for sa20 (SVB Leerink)
From the interview last Friday? Any idea how the other decisions are going to released?
Can confirm as well. Offers went out right after the Superday.
Really solid name in healthcare coverage, particularly in the Boston market. Had the pleasure of meeting Rob Leerink, and granted he's the capital markets guy of the team, he's incredibly knowledgeable and gives off the impression they run a tight ship there. I also know personally of at least 1 ex-Leerink analyst who has made the transition to GS HC (a cursory linkedin check will confirm.)
They're really strong. Top player in the life sciences space.
Are they having another set of interviews / Superday sometime soon, or is recruiting over?
Nope recruitment is over afaik
