There are around 5 people who have posted here last couple of days.

Round 2 interviews are pretty expensive as they involve Senior Associates etc. So a lot of filtering is done beforehand.

A 0/5 success rate on this forum seems very unlikely. Much more likely is that they have not yet sent invites.

True, but if you had received an invitation, would you be here looking for an answer for the question if you already knew the answer?

Just a traditional "Regrettably, after careful consideration, including our recent interview, we have decided to move forward with another candidate whose qualifications and experiences more closely align with the requirements of the role at this time."

Sorry guys.

What time exactly did you receive them?
Curious if they sent them out automatically - i.e. if all rejections have been sent

If you say that a friend of yours got his at 9:00AM today maybe I'm wrong and they haven't sent everything in a single batch. My friend got hers yesterday close to midnight

Not yet. I don't know anyone who heard back either.

Not sure how credible the information in this thread is: there is one person who created multiple spam accounts and is posting fake news (account name was azi56940, deleted his account once someone pointed out that he was answering his own questions as "Associate 1 in Acct-Tax", multiple accounts that are spamming this thread were created just a few minutes after lol)

Nevertheless, if there is no news today, I think it is safe to assume that we are out

Hate this firm. Looks like a bunch of FAs were running recruitment this year, and they did a damn AWFUL job of it. Seem to just want women as part of their FA class - insulting to people that spent so much time recruiting for the firm. Absolutely no regard for diversity beyond just wanting females too.

Probably one of the whitest firms I’ve ever seen yet talks about D&I like they’re champions of it. Mark my words - their entire FA class is either gonna be (White) women or White European guys with so much experience that they should really be targeting the better programmes in London.

Before anyone goes on ranting: I’m white myself. Just showing their hypocrisy when it comes to D&I. Only seeing D&I through gender. Idiots. Absolutely shit firm. My bets are that some of these old Swiss bosses they have are absolutely racist too.

Did SD on Fri - got LBO model test template (given) saved locally with instruction pack (this year + last) although identical structure. PM if I can help out with it for anyone applying next yr

Who didn’t lol games the game. They used same as prior cycle so everyone cheated or got someone else to help or send in solutions since it was not invigilated. I imagine few did it fairly and probably wouldn’t have too high quality

I can second that lots of ppl including myself used last cycle LBO test to our advantage. Unfortunate for those that didn’t have it but it is what it is. Wouldn’t recommend selling it though cos they can easily find out who u r through payment method and also template edit history…

No but look at the above ^

Loads cheated in the LBO test and someone is selling it…

They’re probably running investigations. Wouldn’t be surprised if they cancel a bunch of tests or get us to re-do a different case study. Decisions probably gonna take a while.

We all basically cheated so why not keep it to ourselves? Absolutely no need to be selling it straight away or publicising the fact you cheated / the LBO was same as last year??

I did the test fairly and am very very pissed. How could they be so stupid to have just used same test from last year. I’m scared I’m gonna get rejected now because mine wasn’t as good as those that cheated. I rly hope they figure something out to make things fair…

Someone at the firm told me they’re looking into ppl selling the case. What’s actually going on with this LBO test situation? Given that we all cheated isn’t the idea that we don’t go on a public forum and discuss it??

This rly is annoying man. If they reject me coz of LBO then that’s just completely unfair. If I had it in advance I’d have absolutely destroyed it (as anyone would have done). They can’t BS about using the discussion part either coz it would have been so easy to prepare for that too…

This process has been disastrous from A to Z. Who seriously wants to work at this firm?

I agree that the process has been a complete and absolute shitshow from start to finish. They have these inexperienced kids running the process too which makes it 100x worse. What’s even more crazy is that they now are gonna ding a bunch of us for having case studies/test that can’t compete with the ppl that had info in advance. I’m so completely done with this firm. To anyone considering applying pls avoid at all costs…

Also considering the process started in September. Never seen a process of 3 months with that much time in between interview rounds.

Ah and they offer CHF 10 dinner allowance fyi, which gets you one banana and a bottle of water in Zug.

Has anyone with insight on the inside know what’s going on? How are they addressing this situation? Any predictions of how they’re gonna respond?

Lol really? Please make this a big thing. Hope people get to understand the truth about this joke firm

Me too... Another candidate at the SD had apparently given my name (the message didn’t tell me who). I haven’t yet responded and probably won’t but I know that this is gonna hit PG big time. Not only have they mentioned the LBO test situation but the journalist contacted someone else I spoke to at the SD and there are also allegations of the N Word being dropped casually in interview. Someone is gonna be so badly fired after all this. Whole situation feels like an absolute movie

I told the journalist everything. From start to finish, absolute joke. Yeah I was asked about the racism too. I personally didn’t experience it but was absolutely not surprised. I made something very clear - this isn’t the issue with one process, once interviewer etc.; this was an issue with the firm as a whole. The culture is shit and if I had other options I’d have withdrawn a long time ago.
