Warburg Pincus FT 2027 Analyst

Wanted to start a thread on this - has any one heard back about scheduling after first round invites went out last week? Don't know what to expect, heard 1R is mostly a behavioral screen.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't specific information available about the Warburg Pincus FT 2027 Analyst process or updates regarding scheduling after first-round invites. However, from previous discussions on similar roles, the first round is often described as a behavioral screen. Candidates typically encounter questions focused on fit, motivations, and general background.

If you're preparing, it might be helpful to review behavioral techniques and practice common private equity interview questions. Additionally, keeping an eye on WSO forums for updates from other candidates could provide more insights.

did invites go out without scheduling? So just inviting you to a first round interview?

Nope, any t25 private and top publics can get interviews.

No cutoff for banks - can check analyst or incoming analyst on LinkedIn. There have been analysts who joined in past years and didn't even do banking or PE for the summer.

I believe they ended last week of May or the first week of June.

Got 1R invite earlier today, will dm ppl interested in mocking with me.

just got 1R invite too and technicals were mentioned in the email. what should i expect? paper LBO, accounting, etc.?

was yours also just behavioral or technical? getting conflicting answers

A week or so, interviewer said I got everything right but I guess back to grinding for spd. I understand many haven’t even done their 1r yet so idk how it’s going to work. Perhaps interviewing during training. Have heard ppl going straight to super as well no 1r in the past
