Guggenheim SA 2022

Did anyone interview for houston energy earlier this week? Have you heard back? I don't believe NYC has started for non-diversity, as the only person from my school that has gotten an offer from them was diversity. Also does anyone know if it's possible to get interviews at multiple locations? I hope doing the interview for houston energy doesn't preclude me from interviewing at NYC if I get rejected.

I didn't hear anything. My interviewer said next step was a super and that if advanced, you would hear on Friday. Well Friday just passed and I got nothing. I have no clue how they're jumping straight to super off this. Did you also do a 20 min phone interview? It was way too easy. Also, do you know if we are still eligible to interview for NYC if we get rejected from this process? I hope we aren't limited to interviewing to one location in totality.

Unsure about Houston, I don't know anyone going through that process. But for NYC, interview process has kicked off and rx interviews are done w/ offers already sent out - I wouldn't be surprised if M&A is starting soon if it hasn't already. I am fairly sure you can do interviews with both locations, but I'm unsure truth be told. At the very least you can apply to both and get an interview with one. Maybe your situation is different since you interviewed with Houston already. But again, I don't know for sure.

Questions weren’t typical book questions. Almost exclusively merger model and DCF stuff. They hit me with a few true/false questions during the interview which were a bit tough to conceptualize given the way the questions were asked. My school didn’t have first rounds, so it was just a superday.

No. The only person I spoke to was someone in HR in NYC but they said super days were in June for NYC. I also applied to SF TMT as well and out of the blue got notified of an interview earlier today.

How’s your supers go kings ? Anyone know where NYC and SF are in the process ?

Did you get a first round? Haha I got a Gugg Houston 1st round with no networking. Had an associate referral at the NYC office and no 1st round yet lol. I've seen you on the BofA thread bro lol. Hopefully we can pull through there

To anyone who's had a superday so far can you provide some color about what we should expect in terms of technicals

I think we are out bro. Sucks because I had an associate referral for NYC and got interview at Gugg Houston w/o networking. Might be wrong, but our chances don't look good.
