in waves for sure. Wait until Feburary because I did an exclusive networking event just for my school and the HR said R1 are sent out around Jan - Feb and SD are sent out Mar - Apr. I would still hit people up if you can to connect bc my experience with HL networking has been great.

I networked with ONLY alumni and they’re in BS, FinTech, Tech, and RX.

I applied to Atlanta Business Services and only networked with one alum who works there currently! Ended up being a 30-minute mostly behavioral interview, much more chill than I expected. Was only asked one technical and it was about the three valuation methods. Otherwise, I was asked what the most impressive entry on my resume was, situational questions, challenges I've faced leading a team, TMABYS, etc. It might come in waves but I'm not sure--was offered the first round two-ish weeks ago (before the new year).

study hard and good luck. they're relatively hard on technicals up for any interviews pre-VP levels so make sure you can do that aside from the behaviorals. mаrginofаlpha is a pretty good resource in general so recommend that

do you know what timeline looks like for it? I had my interview Thursday afternoon haven’t heard back not sure how long it takes to hear about second round or SPD.

An upperclassman who got an offer last year said a week max for another round, and another week max for SPD. So not over yet and I would wait till the end of the week before begging hr.

Had R1 for NYC on Tuesday, Qs were 80% techs. None from 400 or red book. Was told by someone else on the team that it’s straight to SD (I think because I was already placed in a specific coverage group..?). Fingers crossed

No one told me they would put in a referral for me, if that’s what you’re asking. I had an informal first round back in Nov with an alum tho, I believe that’s why I got the interview bc none of my friends got it + I attend heavy non-target

That's actually wild I also had mine on Tuesday with healthcare and the only tech I got was how do the three statements link. Which group did you place into because 80% techs is insanely unlucky? Interviewer said we should hear back by early next week if we got SD.

Yeah I think if I don’t hear back within 7 days from today (1.5 weeks after interview) I’m assuming no SD. I interviewed w Consumers. Did u guys get questions that were nearly word-for-word from 400 or red book?

I got a vague LBO question (phrased as a literal story with a question mark at the end) and sector-specific valuation questions. Like I was given an example scenario and asked what I’d do / what multiples I’d use and why

I had round 1 interview 8 days ago for NY and interviewer said I was getting a superday but still haven't heard anything. Anyone in a similar situtation?

Wow good to know I'm not the only one. Interviewer told me she would put in a good word to HR and that I should email her once I get my SD so that she could mock me, this was last Tuesday for NY healthcare.
