Dont think you have necessarily been dinged for GSAM, not sure I have heard of anyone getting a HV yet

just checked application portal - rejected for GS AM even though my application is competitive & got hirevues last year so weird apparently they aren't hiring for FT london anymore according to the other thread on here? didnt even send a rejection email lmfao

I know 2 people (including me) who had technical questions. I guess it depends on the position you’re interviewing for. I’m interested in markets so I was asked things like if I knew what the s&p closed at 2 days ago.
Fair enough, I went through an accelerator program so my first and final rounds were all behavioral questions with different members of the team. If anything I brought up technical questions to the interviewers at the end of the interview session.

I have two ACs with GSAM. One is on friday. The subdivisions are AIMS long only CPS and CSCM. How are these divisions viewed? Thing is I am mainly applying to S&T roles and do not have a great grasp on AM, hence why I am asking. Appreciate any info. For example what are hours and culture like?

it depends, some people received their offer in less than a week, some people have been waiting for 4 weeks. there's no fixed timeline with blackrock. what would be more helpful is if you specify the team you interviewed with then someone can let you know.
