Have you heard back about 2nd round for Barcap?
hi have you guys applied to mainly hong kong or singapore positions? Credit Suisse (SG) and BAML (SG) have started first rounds and Stanchart (SG) have sent out notifications for first rounds as well..
I applied for both. Yeah just heard back from CS about the networking event next week.
MS has sent out their first rounds as well.

MS, Nomura, Citi, ML, BarCap have all sent out invites. BarCap has also started to send out 2nd rounds.
ML HK's application isn't due until December 1st though, are you referring to their Singapore office or HK as well?
they are doing rolling, at least for HK i think because i heard somebody at my school got first round with them already earlier in the month.

Just heard back from them abt 1st rounds. Just curious, I thought that JPM doesn't have numerical/logical tests?

Based overseas too. Though I haven't heard back from anyone unlike everyone on this thread. This is kind of worrying now.
JPM does have numerical/logical tests. I was sent out a few weeks ago for both Europe and Asia. I am based overseas. MS is doing first rounds right now for Asia
it seems that JPM doesn't do any tests for hong kong.. just heard back from them for 1st rd phone interviews

DB has 1st rounds?! Is that the sudden very brief phone interview that is also for you to ask questions? They sent kids straight to superday last year after Online Test.
No it's a face to face interview. I'm based in Asia though so maybe it's different.
had barcap 2nd round, ms phone interview so far. have Citi line up this week. haven't heard back from any other banks now and it's worrying me now...
When was your 1st round with barcap? Mine was on Nov 18 and I still haven't heard back. Wondering what it means.

next round (2nd round) is not superday, it's skype interview most likely (at least for last year). Shall be out this week or next week. superday is MLK weekend.
Do you know what to expect for second round by any chance? How is it different from first round, more behavioural etc. ? Thanks in advance.

Nope, their app deadline was only a couple days ago but someone here mentioned they already interviewed few people. Not sure if they have sent out the "legit" first round invites yet..
yeah i said that. i heard a person at my school (in the U.S.) has already gotten it but i think she applied really early, by the non-international deadline. just curious, where are you based in?
Based oversea. Good to hear, that means I haven't gotten dinged yet. The non-international deadline wasn't THAT early if I remembered correctly, it was the same time as Citi and MS. Thanks for the info though.

I think Morgan Stanley is general Asia Pacific? You might specify location preference later - personally I would only want to work in HK if I got the offer.
This is the email I got:

For CS I applied for both IBD and S&T. I heard from ST Last Monday. But for IBD, no friend at my school heard back . I'm US target.
I heard from Wharton friends that they and their friends haven't even heard back from JPM, CS, GS IBD so I think others who said they heard back are most likely applying for different positions like AM or S&T. unless someone knows otherwise

guys just as assurance, i just completed my Citi 1st rounds 2 days ago and my friends have yet to complete theirs so i'm sure they're still in the process of deliberating who will be selected for superday

UBS and BAML (you should get used to just saying Bank of America, since they are dropping the ML name soon) have BOTH sent out phone interviews for their first round. if you haven't heard back from either, it probably means you did poorly on the online test.

Hey buddy, if you are referring to that recent news, they aren't including the ML part in their official registration name, but they are still using it in marketing materials and other occasions. A lot of bankers still refer it as ML. Thanks for the info though!
