For bofa, how did you specify what division you wanted. I don't think I made it explicitly clear in my motivational questions neither did they give us a drop-down menu

From what I gathered London is more HR/CV based and less networking heavy

Return offers genuinely just depend on availability (esp in S+T) and performance. Networking helps to be specific but nowhere near as how relevant networking can be in other countries. In the UK knowing someone high up and trying to pull in favours might work against you (unless ofc the person asking for the favour is your Mum or Dad who is a client)

Doesn't necessarily help for undergrads entering the workforce, but does for postgrads finishing their course end of September. Unless you want to wait for entry following year, networking is your best bet in my opinion.

Did interview about 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard back since, have u?

Some people saying DB has done 1st rounds and ACs are next week. Also Barclays have started 1st rounds too. For me haven’t heard back since both tests idk if other forums are lying tbf

I went to a campus event for JP markets and they said ac’s out in mid-late October. Idk about bofa

BoFa is currently reviewing HV's. Got rejected a few days ago while others got a holding email

Did Telephone interview for them on 25th Sept still haven’t heard back yet. Bristol tracker status update seems to be wrong. Still says HV so maybe most are on HV?

heard they filled in all the slots through spring week participants (and allegedly they werent even that great), so wont be opening it up at all

(okay - apparently not true, which is not surprising since it was hearsay)

That’s crazy for Barclays if true. Surely a bad idea to basically restrict your entire sa class to 2nd year home students, just look at Lazard haha

This is false, according to Barclays HR.

anyone know about  the process for Citadel FIM? I got invited for a hackerrank today but I belive there was a maths test as well that I didn’t get invited for so don’t know what to make of it

Update on Barclays S&T apps: They just opened for anyone interested

I applied to JPM on the first day and immediately did the HV. No news since then

HSBC hasn't reached out since the job simulation like 3 weeks ago. They only sent a short survey to ask which sector within S/T I'm interested in

BofA no news since applying and doing the HV. Only biweekly emails that confirm my application is still under consideration. Apparently some people already had TIs

Hope this helps

Anyone heard back after filling out the preference form? I went back to look at the job description and noticed they asked applicants to specify their preferences in question 1 of the application form.

Anyone had an update on HSBC internship after job assessment?

Or Bank of America after hirevue ?

And has anyone had any progression after doing Plum for citi?

Barclays S&T after online assessments ?

Standard chartered after hirevue for financial markets ?

Be great to keep up to date with people’s progression or if anyone knows timelines based on last year?

Let me know below.

Best of luck!

Received an email today from Bofa asking for my preferences across sales/trading/structuring. Good sign or is it auto?

Fingers crossed anyway. Seems quite a few got it though, maybe someone who got Bofa ac previously can opine

Has anybody heard back from Santander CIB Global Markets grad programme? I'm not sure when we're expected to be called in for 1st round interviews :,)

these people called me for a first round, then didnt show up, then i emailed them and they didnt even reply. honestly not working for if they cant show up to an interview

JPM should be out very soon (if not already), I know someone who did the AC last year at the end of october. Personally havent heard from bofa after the preference form

Heard they ran ACs this week for IBD, expect that if you got something to hear in the next couple of weeks
