2018 IB Summer Analyst Recruiting Timeline - Hong Kong/Singapore

I know there's an informative megathread discussing US-focused IB SA recruiting for 2018, and I'd like to start a new one for those specifically interested in HK/SG to share knowledge, questions, information, and concerns regarding IB SA recruiting for summer 2018, as interviews have been sent out for some of them. Good luck to everyone.

Wonder if any China Mainland target undergrads hang out here as well, we can share some info. For all I know, Citi has a early round at 9.22.

Any feedback? I finished the second round this week, but no feedback after then. Do you know when can hear back for AC?

For CS, selected applicants take three phone interviews. Does anybody know whether an applicant needs 'yes' from all interviews to be proceeded to the next round? I didn't do well on my second one lol

I believe CS SG invites selected applicants to the next round interview after the three phone interviews. Quite surprised that CS HK only runs phone interview

Wonder if anyone could share some insight on Citi HK 1st Round interview - I suppose the interviewers are the same as those that went to NYC and the questions were predetermined rather than randomly brought up. What questions did you guys get for discussion?

"DeninWSO" bump..also thinking baml may start its first rounds recently. anyone received interview invites?

I applied for the markets position HK and received two 'stay connected' emails saying they are still taking time to look at my resume, and have not heard anything yet. Does everyone get this email every Tuesday, or is this supposed to be a good sign?

"hkwildcat" received invite for BAML first rounds

Which division did you apply for? When did they get back to you? I applied for HK and they never seem to get back other then 'stay connected' mails...

Has anymore heard back from Citi markets final round? The HR said it would take two weeks and it's already been two weeks. Does anyone know whether we would get rejection letter or we would just never hear back if we get rejected?

Not sure about Markets but CMO already gave out rejection emails (Like 1.5 weeks back). I'd imagine that the process is pretty similar across the board!

Hey, I know this comes a little late but I had my final round on the 20th of November. Hope your process has been going well. Feel free to PM me to talk more!

Really excited to be joining CS HK's IBD team next summer.

For those that have accepted offers for Hong Kong, I thought it would be cool to create maybe a WhatsApp group to chat and get to know each other. Please let me know if you're interested.

Also let me know if there's been something of this sort already created lol
