Anyone know why the email says the situational judgement test is "optional" and "has no impact on your application"? I don't imagine that would be the case lol

interviewed on Wed, haven't heard back yet. I guess we will hear back today/tomorrow

got an email this morning tell me that I will be receiving an offer letter and an access code. Did you get your offer letter?

Does anyone know when the second wave of first rounds and superdays will we held? I've heard they will start reviewing resumes again soon but have no clue when it will happen.

If this the Situational Judgement Test it says in the email:

"Please note that the completion of this assessment is not mandatory and your performance on this assessment will not impact your application to Deutsche Bank."

How heavily does networking play into DB's recruitment? I spoke to one Director who is a school alum. Should that be enough or should I keep pushing?

confused… r thry recruiting juniors rn? isn’t it a bit late??? saw an email they’re still recruiting

I applied on Tuesday and got rejected on Sunday... I hope it's a glitch because I checked the Yello portal and it still says "Applied". It was for both positions at the NYC office posted and the one at the SF office.

This next wave of DB that just opened up is their last main 'catch all' type of round. They begin screening resumes usually a week into August, then first rounds go out at the end of August/beginning of September. Super days are usually scheduled around the second week of September, or a little bit later if needed. Generally, the capital markets division moves just slightly slower than corporate finance, so take that into consideration.

I’ve gone through the process before and have a few buddy’s at DB rn.

The timeline that I mentioned above might off a week or so, really depends on HR. But it’s a good rough outline

Hi! I have three questions, any help is greatly appreciated:

1. I applied yesterday (target and diversity). Am I too too late or is there still a chance?

2. How technical is the first interview?

3. Should I do the assessment? Has anyone who hasn’t done it gotten offers?

Thanks!!

Don't think Ny has sent out first rounds yet, but you definitely need to network to get into the process

Thank you for you help! Would you say it’s impossible to advance through the process without networking? And is it too late to start networking now? I know I’m late, but I am willing to put in the work.

I'm pretty sure it's still not too late, the first rounds for NYC have not gone out yet (I think), maybe they did but I am expecting a response email. Everything seems to be slow this month (which is normal apparently), including the process for other banks.

I spoke with a recruiter on Tuesday, and they mentioned that we should expect to hear back this week or the next regarding the selection for a first-round interview.
