Got a coffee chat from a guy in Rx (didn’t apply and don’t think I will) who said someone from M&A should be reaching out.

Does receiving the open house invitation automatically qualify us for a first-round? I think less than 75 people are selected for the open houses which is why I ask

On the app it is highlighted with a red star - don't know if it will let you submit without one

Why is EVR starting so late? Aren't they usually one of the first firms to recruit? Offers are out at several other banks already.

Also interested. Last year they were the first to fill up spots, friends told me they wrapped up M&A and RX in March/April when lots of other boutiques were going in the summer

Had 1st round as non-diversity at a target today.

Edit: Why is this getting MS. Evercore goes in batches and is based on the school recruiting team at targets.

Not going to say, but its a core school.

Thing about Evercore is that since core schools have their own recruiting teams, timelines will be different depending on the school

Whoever had a coffee chat so far, did they ask technical questions or was it more of a regular chat?

Did anyone apply to EVR when the application opened and preferenced Menlo Park as their second choice (but there wasn't an option to differentiate between HC and Tech)? They apparently fixed that issue and I have tried emailing HR to fix it since I want to make sure my application is considered and not dinged since they now have 2 replacements for the location preference: MP - Tech and MP - Healthcare

Source? Also do u know when non-div first-rounds kick off? early April I'm assuming?

Can we get clarification on non-diverse RX first rounds? Non-target but had a couple of good calls and am expecting an interview, but don't want to follow up again for more clarification

Thanks!

how long did it take for you all to hear back from first rounds for superdays?

Has anyone gotten RX offers yet (incl. diversity)?

It seems offer calls take one hour to even 2 weeks, so just gotta continue hustling ig.

People with offers, help a homie out and drop the interview/technical questions

Is it just HW that has started or is everyone else still waiting for M&A?
