BofA Sophomore SA 2025

Wanted to start a thread to see where everyone's at in terms of applying for the sophomore Global IB program for summer 2025 at Bank of America (NYC was my first choice). When should we expect hirevues and superdays to come out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Could anyone provide more information about the Global Markets Sustainable Finance Sophomore Summer Analyst Program or the Global Sustainable Finance Group (GSFG)? Having trouble finding sufficient details.

Also curious if applying for the Sophomore SA counts towards the Junior SA application limit. Is the limit of three North American positions per year contingent on the year of internship or application?

Have a very good friend working in this group. They are technically a part of the S&T division but do a decent amount of modeling. Mostly providing credit for green energy infra as well as figuring out how to structure deals to benefit the most from the IRA.

I've heard it can get super technical. My friend from last year told me he got a question about the math behind the black-scholes option pricing model and how it differs between American and European call options

For IB, this doesn't make sense. This is a more s&t type question. They are pretty simple answers. The second one would be the American option can be exercised at any point and the Black Scholes is made for european, which has to be exercised on the expiration date. The math I would say its just plugging in the variables into a partial differential equation and return the fair price of the option.

Non-target non-diverse candidates are getting cooked alive right?

Is there even any sense in applying…

heard from someone working at BofA IB that they release 1st rounds this week. Not sure if that's just for her school's team or for every applicant

i know an associate at bofa... he said they're reviewing resumes this week and hirevues should be out next. very accelerated interviewing schedule after that with offers out by the third/fourth week of july

I got a first-round interview today for LATAM. Is that a HireVue? They said "select a slot" though, so I am prone to think this is with like an actual person. Context: non-target school, diverse.

Top applicants received first rounders today. My diverse friend from HYP got one

at a top semi-target + 2 freshman year internships as well as referral from an MD at BofA. What else does one need to do lmaoo

Consensus is that nothing has been sent out and everyone that has said that is trolling everyone like Analyst 2. Also, had the same problem as you logging into the portal. Used my school email to access the portal, then reset my password successfully once using my school email. The next time I tried to log in, the email associated with the portal changed—yes, changed!!!—to my personal email, to which I had to reset my password again using my personal. I'm still confused why or how, but try that.

They’ve been sent, and I guess that’s their way of rejection by not letting you in.

It says mod team deleted my comment… weird… anyway in my BofA portal they say “we have decided not to move forward with your application” so take that as you will.

- non diversity

- no referral

- non target

- Very relevant internship experience this summer

- great GPA

Confused why my portal still says "Application received" with no email yet. Target, nondiv
